Remember that you have agency, and can make informed choices and face life with resilience, clarity and inner peace. In other words, in the ocean of life, you are more than a jellyfish subject to the currents.
It is easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected in a world that can be chaotic and out of our control.
But the fact is there are things you can control and that is the key to staying sane in an insane crazy-making world.
My goal is to empower you with tools, strategies and reflections to help you rise above the foray so you can stay connected with the most important things in your life. Furthermore I will also share with you how to protect your most important relationships from the fallout of a crazing-making world.
Yes it is possible to flourish despite difficult circumstances; that is where your capacity for resilience comes into play.
Rather than asking yourself how you are going to survive the challenges in life, ask yourself “What strengths are inside of me waiting to be discovered?”
One of my inspirations for mental health promotion comes from the world of preventive dentistry. We know that consistent dental hygiene practices can add up to make a difference in terms of promoting your dental health. The same goes for your mental health.
The consistent application of mental hygiene practices will promote your emotional health and reduce your risk of stress and distress.
You can be proactive and take steps to nurture your emotional health and build resilience.
This is your hub for mental health promotion.
Here you will find science-based insights, easy to implement strategies, along with inspiration to empower you in the face of life’s ups and downs.
And in the coming days, I will be sharing with you various tools that you can use to promote your emotional health and wellbeing. Just as you brush your teeth, you can also brush your mind - and you will feel the benefits!
